US Republican House Speaker Paul Ryan has announced that he would vote for the presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump during the presidential elections in November.

As House Speaker, Ryan is the most senior elected Republican official in the country. Just last month, he said in an interview with CNN that he was not ready to support Trump.
But after talking "at great length" with Trump , Ryan said he was now convinced that the presumptive GOP nominee would advance the party's agenda.
