International leaders have held talks in Paris on how to achieve a long-lasting peace process between Israel and Palestine people.

The US, Russia, EU, Arab League and the UN hope to bring Israeli and Palestinian leaders back to the negotiating table by the end of the year.

UN representatives re-iterated the UN's support for a two-state solution. The two-state solution recognizes the existence of an independent Palestinian state.
