International Children’s Day preparations in Shanghai are under way. Museums, zoos, parks, and playgrounds are providing fun and games for the whole family.

The Shanghai Science and Technology Museum has launched a special training program, where children can assemble robots under the guidance of museum staff. The museum will also offer Lego building, and even programming. 

“Programming is not as difficult as we usually think. We have scheduled three programming classes for children,” said Nie Tinghua, Shanghai Science & Technology Museum.

Meanwhile, the Shanghai Wild Animal Park, the Shanghai Ocean Aquarium, and the Oriental Pearl Tower will also arrange parent-child activities. And Shanghai Disneyland, which is still in trial run, is preparing some surprises of its own.
