The last stop of the World Rugby Sevens Series was taking place at London's storied Twickenham stadium. Scotland were in the final, seeking their first ever title in this format of the game, as they battled South Africa in the championship match.
Scotland's captain Scott Wight is helped over the line to give his side a narrow 10-7 lead at half time.
But Rosko Specman would put South Africa back in front before Cecil Afrika adds another try for the 'Blitzbokke'. James Fleming counters for the Scots, but when Specman carries it over in the corner, South Africa lead 26-15.
Scotland score another but still need one more try to complete the comeback and they get it when Dougie Fife steps past three defenders to seal a 27-26 win and Scotland's first Sevens World Series Cup title.
While Fiji clinched the circuit's overall title for the second straight year.
