US President Barack Obama will be paying a visit to Vietnam from Monday. It's expected to be a watershed moment in the growing economic and strategic relationship between the two countries.

Obama will visit two cities during his three-day trip -- Hanoi, the capital, and Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam’s economic center. Vietnamese authorities say President Obama will hold discussions with the Vietnamese leadership.

On the table are economic cooperation, human rights, the South China Sea situation, and the possibility of ending the embargo. This is something that Vietnam has long sought, and it would sweep away one of the last major vestiges of the Vietnam War.
