China has widespread support in the international community for its stance on the South China Sea issue.
Afghanistan and Cambodia have voiced their support for China in rejecting the arbitration case initiated by the Philippines at The Hague over the South China Sea issue. The countries are the latest outside and inside the region to line up behind China's calls for bilateral talks on the issue.
According to Xinhua News Agency, about 40 countries have expressed support for China's stance on the South China Sea issue, including some 20 member countries of the Arab League and some ASEAN countries .
