Indian President Pranab Mukherjee will make a 3-day state visit to China from May 24th. He has been invited to the country by Chinese President Xi Jinping. The Chinese Foreign Ministry says relations between China and India have maintained healthy and stable momentum in recent years.
Chinese leaders will hold talks with Mukherjee to exchange views on bilateral ties and issues of shared interest. It will be Mukherjee's first state visit to China since he took office in 2012. Mukherjee will also visit the city of Guangzhou in southern China.
