The People's Liberation Army has finished an exercise in waters in Southeast China. The drill was to test landing operations and an integration of combat capabilities.
Soldiers were selected from around a dozen categories of troops. They were reshuffled to form different task forces, with specific missions including troop delivery by helicopters, ground raids, live firing from air and sea, as well as electronic warfare.
The commander said the drill has increased warfare efficiency by reducing the time in data transmission and troop response in raids and firing.
