The Commerce Ministry on Tuesday also released a report on China's foreign trade situation over the past year.
The report said China's trade environment has warmed up since March after a slow turnover in the beginning of year. However, the report said the situation remains tough as external demand is fragile, and more trade friction could be expected. The government issued fresh support for foreign trade business, including easier customs clearance procedures. The report said foreign trade is a major driver of the economy and the government would implement the favorable policies to strengthen the sector.
