Themes at this year’s Tai Hu World Cultural Forum, set to open in Macao June 7, include cooperation, the human community, and building a new civilization.

The forum is a national non-governmental organization devoted to Chinese cultural and cross-cultural communication. But this is the first time the event is working with UNESCO’s International Council for Philosophy and Human Sciences.
There will be more than 800 participants this year, including scholars, politicians, cultural officials, leaders, and enterprises from more than 40 countries and regions.
In previous years, the event has been held in Suzhou, Nanchang, Hangzhou, and Shanghai in China; and in Paris in France.
