Chinese President Xi Jinping has urged all-out efforts to rescue those buried in the landslide in the Fujian Province.  He called on authorities to try to avoid more casualties in the search work.

He also stressed the importance of enhanced monitoring work to prevent secondary disasters. He said local authorities should boost safety checks.
