Artefacts from the Bronze Age have been discovered in Sichuan Province, in southwestern China.
Found in Jian'tai Village, the relics share many of the same characteristics as those found at the famed Sanxingdui - or "Three Stars Mound" - just 13 kilometers away.
The array includes tools, weapons, and pottery on land otherwise scheduled for construction projects. The Jiantai area appears to have developed in parallel with Sanxingdui from the Neolithic Age.
