ASEAN members are set to hold joint military drills in Singapore, Brunei, and coastal areas of the South China Sea with the United States, India, the Philippines and three other countries. China will also send warships and special forces to join the drill.

For more analysis on this, we're joined in the studio by Mr. Teng Jianqun, research fellow from the China Institution of International Studies.
