Aleppo is once again under bombardment, since partial ceasefire broke at the dawn of April 22. According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, 253 civilians had been killed in the escalated bombings by the 30th of the month.
On Wednesday night, bombs destroyed a hospital in Sukari neighbourhood, killing the city's last remaining paediatrician, along with 26 other people. Attacks on Friday left at least eight people dead, and destroyed a medical facility and a water pump. On Saturday, government force's airstrikes hit civilian areas, killing at least six people and injuring 20 others.
