Q1: The new law adopted by the top legislature stipulates that overseas NGOs must secure approval from Chinese authorities before they can operate on the Chinese mainland. It also entails several measures to boost the development of NGOs in China. What's your opinion on the necessity of the law?
Q2: The new law does not come without opposition voices. The US Secretary of State John Kerry, said the legislation creates a "potentially hostile environment" for overseas NGOs. What's your take on his opinion? How do you foresee the development of NGOs in China?
