Japanese Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida is on a three-day visit to China at the invitation of Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi. The two will meet Saturday, with issues relating to the South China Sea and Septemer's G20 Summit on the table.

It is Kishida's first visit to Beijing since the end of 2014. Japanese media say it's aimed at narrowing their differences over territorial disputes and to promote high-level bilateral exchanges.
