Russia unveiled their uniforms for 2016 Summer's Games. The ceremony taking place in the capital of Moscow, and the designers were inspired by the works of the Avant-garde artists who emerged in Soviet Russia after the 1917 revolution. Just a reminder, the Russian Federation is currently banned from participating due to their involvement in a doping ring, but hope to be reinstated in time to attend the Rio Games.
The presentation taking place at the State Tretyakov Gallery, which houses the greatest collection of Russian fine art in the world. Avant-garde is a French term meaning advance guard, or vanguard, which is the exact position Russian Olympic Committee president Alexander Zhukov expects the country's athletes to be in Rio, if they can compete.
