Brussels's Maelbeek metro station, hit in last month's suicide attacks, has re-opened. Belgian transport officials say service resumes Monday from 6 am until 10 pm, like the rest of the network.
Reconstruction work will be completed Friday evening. Maelbeek station has been closed since March 22nd when Islamic State suicide bombings hit a train there, and rocked the Brussels airport just an hour apart. Thirty-two people were killed. The parliament's commission of inquiry is going to visit both sites on Friday. Its mission is to shed light on the attacks by the end of the year.
