In Amsterdam during an informal meeting, EU finance ministers remain divided over whether big companies should be forced to reveal their tax details to the public.
President of the Eurogroup and the EU Economic and Financial Affairs Council Jeroen Dijsselbloem says he supports publicizing the taxes of big companies.
He added that the EU should work to ensure fairness in taxation. However, Austrian Finance Minister Hans Joerg Schelling argues that company taxation should be revealed only to the financial authorities, saying that the current practice is sufficient.
