After being postponed earlier this week, Yemen peace talks are now on track to start this Thursday in Kuwait.

The two attending delegations hope to use the UN-led talks to develop a peace framework based on the Gulf Cooperation Council initiative and the National Dialogue Conference.

Meanwhile, progress has been slow at the Syria peace talks in Geneva. The Syrian government says it will only agree to a broad-based unity government if it includes current government representatives.
