Xi Jinping, CPC General Secretary and Chinese President, has sent a congratulatory letter to Raul Castro, on his re-election as first secretary of the Central Committee of Communist Party of Cuba. 

Xi Jinping said under the leadership of Castro, Cuba will unite as one, to promote its socialist revolution and construction to a new level. He stressed that China values the friendship with Cuba, and is committed to deepening and broadening bilateral cooperation.
