Longjiang Bridge, located in southwest China's Yunnan province, is almost two thousand five hundred meters long, and two hundred eighty meters above the sea level. It is expected to open later in June.

The bridge's 'center span' stretches 1-thousand 196 meters from tower to tower, while the 'side spans' — which connect directly to bordering hillsides — make up the remaining 1-thousand 274 meters.

The unsupported middle portion of the bridge is only 84 meters shorter than the center span of San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge.
