Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff has blasted the lower house of parliament, calling its move to impeach her a “process without substance.” Despite this, Rousseff said she is ready to face the senate proceedings.
“Despite a feeling of much sadness, I have enough energy, strength, and courage needed to face this injustice. I will not be knocked down. I will not let myself be paralyzed by this. I will continue fighting, as I have done it all of my life,” Rousseff said.
