A new method of raising panda cubs in being carried out at China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda in Sichuan Province.

Usually a female panda can only take care of one panda cub, some first time mothers even refuse to live with their new borns. But the new experiment at the center is to encourage some reliable panda mums to take care of three cubs at the same time.

The cubs include one of her own, and 2 other cubs. Take panda Yinghua for example, before two other cubs were introduced to her, the panda keepers would rub excrement of Yinghua's baby onto 2 other ones. In that way Yinghua quickly accepted the new comers. Yinghua never refuse to milk the two other cub.

Now the 3 cubs are all very fit and playful,and spend most of their time on tress.
