South China's Guangzhou is home to the largest population of African business people in Asia. Among them, Nigerians form one of the largest groups. CCTV'S Wu Lei visited some Nigerian merchants in the city, to find out how they have benefited from the growing cooperation between the two countries.

Frank U.D has been doing business in Guangzhou for over 5 years. Due to growing trade, he rented a new shop and started to welcome his customers with these products.

Like Frank, most Nigerian businessmen come and source products at good prices in the Pearl River Delta areas.

Closer economic cooperation will always bring people from two countries together. Chikwendu has been in Guangzhou for over 19 years. He married a Chinese woman and now has 3 children.

Chikwendu and his wife are one on many Nigerian-Chinese couples in the city. He said that although there are always challenges for mixed mariages due to cultural differences, he believes love has no boundaries and can bridge the gap.

Ojukwu Emma is the President of the Assiciation of Nigerian community in China. He said that since the late 1990s, many Nigerian businessmen have been pouring into Guangdong province. As a result the trade volume between the two countries is growing year by year.

Mr. Emma said there are now over 20 thousand Nigerian merchants in Guangzhou and neighboring cities. He believes their life and business here will benefit a lot from the increasing cooperation between the two countries.
