SpaceX's unmanned Dragon cargo ship has arrived at the International Space Station, orbiting about 418 kilometers above the Pacific.
The spacecraft was successfully captured by a big robotic arm manipulated by station astronauts. It is carrying over 3,100 kilograms of gear, and has made good on a high-priority delivery for testing: the world's first inflatable room for astronauts. Also included in the Dragon's cargo are Chinese cabbage seeds and lab mice for space experiments.
The Dragon arrived two days after launching from Cape Canaveral, Florida. This is SpaceX's first delivery for NASA in a year. A launch accident last June had put shipments on hold.
