German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier has begun a three-day visit to China at the invitation of Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.  The visit will wrap up Sunday. The two are now holding a joint press conference here in Beijing.

During the visit, the two foreign ministers will co-chair the second session of Chinese-German strategic dialogue on diplomatic and security affairs. The first session of the strategic dialogue was held in Berlin last year.  At that time, the two sides agreed to carry out both all-round and high-level bilateral ties.
