The market for cross-border e-commerce is reaching a mature stage as overseas logistics becomes more efficient. A new report on the industry says that the market reached 240 billion yuan with growth of 60% by the end of 2015. People in China buying foreign goods online totalled 240 million at the end of 2015. Most of China's cross-border e-shoppers are from Shanghai, which accounted for 12 percent of the total. Shanghai was followed by major cities such as Beijing, Hangzhou and Guangzhou. The shoppers mostly favor goods from such countries as Japan, the USA and South Korea.
