Israel and China will soon issue 10-year multiple-entry visas to each other's nationals, according to the bilateral agreement signed in Jerusalem. The number of Chinese tourists travelling to Israel has been increasing sharply over the last three years, with an over 30 percent growth from each year to the next.

The announcement comes as Hainan Airlines announced it will soon become the first Chinese carrier to offer direct flights between Beijing and Tel Aviv.
