With the rape flowers in full bloom, the entire county of Shexian is transformed into a scene of ephemeral beauty. And, at an altitude of around 800 meters, visitors can dwell in the ancient villages built on the mountain terrace.

Combined with the white walls and black tiles of ancient buildings, set amid green hills sometimes shrouded in mist, all this makes for a breathtaking view. The blooming season for rape flowers lasts until early April.
