Passengers and crew members of the hijacked EgyptAir plane have arrived safely in Cairo. The hijacked plane was forced to land in Cyprus.

They were seen on footage aired on Egyptian television exiting the plane at Cairo International Airport and being greeted by Egypt’s Prime Minister Sherif Ismail.

All passengers and crew members were unharmed. Eighty-one people, including 21 foreigners and 15 crew members, were on board the Airbus 320.

The domestic flight was flying from Alexandria to Cairo Tuesday when it was hijacked by a man with what authorities said was a fake explosives belt.

The man’s motivations for hijacking the plane were unclear, but officials said it was not terrorism-related, and that he had tried to communicate with his Cypriot ex-wife, who lives on the island.
