The world number one took on Austrian youngster Domini Thiem in the fourth round as the Serbian superstar looks to move one step closer to becoming the tournament’s first back to back winner since Andre Agassi in 2003, while also equaling the American great with a sixth title overall.

Djokovic serving and already up a break at 2-0 in the first frame. He is yet to drop a set this tournament and is 24-1 so far this year. He tried a drop shot and Thiem chased it down, but Djokovic read him perfectly to finish with a volley en route to taking the set 6-3.
On match point, Thiem managed to fend off three attempts to end it, but there was only so much he could do. The Serb won it 6-4 and is moving on to the quarterfinals.
Seventh-seeded Czech books place in quarterfinals
Thomas Berdych of the Czech Republic faced Richard Gasquet. Tied at four games apiece in the opening set, the lanky Berdych rained down forehands and then went the other way for the winner, and later won the set 6-4.
In the second, Gasquet mixed it up nicely. On a sublime drop shot from the Frenchman, Berdych barely budged. Gasquet wins the set 6-3 to force a decider.
The third was tight, but Berdych had match point up 6-5. Gasquet reached back but could not keep it in play, so Berdych was victorious after three tough frames and earned a spot in the quarterfinals.
In other results, Canadian 12th seed Milos Raonic demolished Damir Dzumhur of Bosnia 6-0, 6-3 in less than an hour. Giilles Simon defeated Lucas Pouille in straight sets, while David Goffin did the same to Horacio Zeballos.
