BANGKOK, April 23 (Xinhua) -- The Thai government's Center for the Resolution of Emergency Situation (CRES) Wednesday condemned the terrorism group, who recently created several violence in capital Bangkok, Tharit Pendit Director-General of the Division of the Special Investigations (DSI) said.

These terrorism acts can lead to death sentence, Tharit said on behalf of the CRES during a national live television at 11.30 a.m.

Meanwhile, the DSI has also classified some four following crimes as special crimes to be prosecuted by the DSI, said Tharit.

These four charges have included terrorist acts, intent to harm the public and state officials, acts to threaten the government, and acts of sabotaging state equipment and supplies, Tharit said.

Those, who had involved with the terrorism acts, must stop their violence activities, the DSI Director-General said.

And, the general people are advised to stay away or get out of the "red-shirt" rally site, Tharit said.

In a related development, Methee Amornwuttikul, who was arrested Thursday, admitted he had involved with the clashes between the "red-shirts" and the troops on April 10 as he also snatched weapons from soldiers.

Security officials found a weapon in his car, the DSI Director- General said.

Methee is among the 24 "red-shirt" leaders, who have been wanted by the Thai government.

The CRES announcement was made amid the ongoing "red-shirt" rally, which have started from March 12 as they are now gathering at the Rathchaprasong Intersection in Bangkok.

They have demanded Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva to " immediately" dissolve the lower House of parliament and hold a new general election.

The "red-shirts" have viewed that, apart from the House dissolution, there is no other solution to the country's ongoing political conflict.

But, at the same time the rise of Thais in various-color shirts, who have opposed the early House dissolution, is increasingly growing.
