Special Report: 7.1-magnitude Quake Hit Qinghai, China |
BEIJING, April 15 (Xinhua) -- About 200,000 books on quake relief and response knowledge with Tibetan-language translation had been sent for print with urgency, and will be delivered via the special transportation route to the quake-hit areas on Friday.
The first batch of relevant readings had been sent to quake zone by road on Wednesday, sources with China's General Administration of Press and Publication told Xinhua Thursday.
The electronic versions of three books on relevant knowledge had been donated to Qinghai and would be translated into Tibetan language to assist the relief work of the local people.
The books to be sent to the quake zone are on knowledge of the first aid measures, the measures to prevent secondary disasters or plagues after earthquakes.
