Ministerial Meeting of China-Arab Cooperation Forum to be held in China

BEIJING, April 13 (Xinhua) -- The fourth Ministerial Meeting of China-Arab Cooperation Forum will be held from May 13-14 in Tianjin, China, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Jiang Yu said here Tuesday.

The meeting, with the theme of deepening comprehensive cooperation and realizing common development, will be attended by foreign ministers and representatives from China and Arab countries, and the secretary-general of the League of Arab States.

Participants would discuss the China-Arab relationship, pragmatic cooperation, developing the forum, and global and regional issues of common concern, Jiang said.

Jiang said the meeting would give impetus to the China-Arab friendship and developing the forum.

The China-Arab Cooperation Forum, established in 2004, serves as an important platform for dialogue and cooperation.
