Light plane crash kills two in France

PARIS, April 6 (Xinhua) -- Two French people were killed in the crash of a light plane on Tuesday afternoon at the mountainous region in central France, local media reported.

The sightseeing plane with two people on board took off from Clermont-Ferrand in the afternoon but crashed later for unknown reason on its route over the Dome mountain, local gendarmes were quoted as saying.

Both victims were French residents in the region, police said, adding that relevant investigation was underway.
