Tibet Civil Aviation Administration offers passengers foods

Tibet Civil Aviation Administration began to provide foods for passengers departing from Tibet for the first time in its 45-year history.

An Airbus A319 received foods from the Tibet Airport Air Catering Company in the Lhasa Gonggar Airport on Sunday.

The catering foods were all prepared by the company which opened on January 6, according to a staff of the Tibet Civil Aviation Administration.

The company has prepared foodstuffs with Tibetan flavors and signed contracts with China Sichuan Airlines, China Southern Airlines and China Eastern Airlines, the staff added.

The company can provide foods for 4,000 passengers per day.
