Domenech to name French World Cup squad May 11

PARIS, March 29 (Xinhua) -- France coach Raymond Domenech will name his 23-man squad for the FIFA World Cup South Africa on May 11.

Domenech, who had initially said he was going to announce the squad on May 2, said Monday, "This delay will allow us to minimise risks."

"There are too many games scheduled after May 2 that could result in some injuries," he added.
