Look out Emeril Lagasse because Beijing local Liu Changfa has invented something that could change the restaurant industry forever: a robot that can cook.

The robot has salt, monosodium glutamate, sugar and other common flavors in its "chest," and there is an induction cooker in its "belly," while soy sauce, vinegar and other liquid flavors are outside of him. When you need the robot to cook, you only need to put materials into his "belly" and give it an order through special software on a computer which is connected to the robot. And few minutes later, the dish will be ready.

Liu said the robot can prepare dozens of delicious dishes following orders of the software. He had contacted with a restaurant about putting the robot into practical application.
