Four more goodwill ambassadors selected for Shanghai Expo

SHANGHAI, March 12 (Xinhua) -- Four more celebrities have been named goodwill ambassadors of the Shanghai Expo, the Shanghai Expo Bureau announced Friday.

The four celebrity ambassadors are TV ancherperson Yang Lan, composer Tan Dun, Hong Kong pop star Andy Lau, and legendary gymnast Li Ning.

The Shanghai Expo will roll out red carpet for the seven celebrity ambassadors, who also include film star Jackie Chan, basketballer Yao Ming and pianist Lang Lang.

They all are willing to help to promote the event, said the announcement.

March 12 also marked the 50 days count down for the Shanghai Expo.
