Some high profile match-ups are set to go in the Champions League round of 16 action on Wednesday. Among the highlights is Manchester United, welcoming AC Milan...an affair that also marks the return to Old Trafford of David Beckham.

United will have the advantage against AC Milan as they look to go through to the quarter-finals after a three-two first leg win. But, manager Sir Alex Ferguson warns the job is far from finished.

United are missing a number of experienced players for the match. The side has receiver some positive news in the unexpected return to fitness of Wayne Rooney after a knee problem kept him out of the weekend English Premier League win at Wolverhampton.

Sir Alex Ferguson, Manager of Manchester United, said, "His form at the moment I'm sure that, no matter which game he was going into, he'd be an absolute threat to anyone. That's what he provides tomorrow, he provides that threat for us, in that role he plays up front very well."

While their rivals AC Milan are confident they can turn round their first leg deficit and qualify for the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Milan were beaten 3-2 at home in the first leg, so realistically need a two-goal win to go through.

The match also sees David Beckham's first return to Old Trafford as a member of the opposition.

Leonardo, Manager of AC Milan, said, "I think for him (Beckham) it is something very, very special. I think to have the opportunity to play against Manchester United after his history here, it is something incredible for him. When he saw the draw, it was unbelievable, the situation he could live."
