China Central Television will soon be adjusting the satellite transmission and coverage of CCTV International channels in Southern Africa, to meet the need of its global development strategy of multi-lingual programming. CCTV will substitute former satellite IS-10 (INTELSAT) with C Band for Eutelsat-W7 with Ku-Band's beam for Southern Africa, which has begun transmitting the signals of CCTV-4/9/F, and the satellite specifications are as follows (Chart 1):
Currently satellite W7's (EL36゜) band for Southern Africa has started to transmit the signals of CCTV-4/9/F, and the satellite specifications are as follows (Chart 1):
