At least 30 al-Qaida suspects killed in Yemen

SANAA, Dec. 24 (Xinhua) -- At least 30 suspected al-Qaida terrorists were killed in an air raid launched by the Yemeni army early Thursday, said a security official.
The air strikes took place in Yemen's eastern province of Shabwa, as a group of terror suspects were gathered for a meeting, said the official on condition of anonymity.
