TEHRAN, Dec. 14 (Xinhua) -- Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki on Monday denounced the interference of U.S. President Barack Obama in Iran's domestic affairs, the official IRNA news agency reported.
Protesting against Obama's recent statements concerning his support for Iran's post-election "rioters," Mottaki said that the U.S. president has made the mistake during Iran's presidential election too and made "immature statements," the report said.
On Thursday upon receiving his Nobel Peace Prize in Oslo, Barack Obama expressed full support for Iran's reformists' post-election unrest.
"He (Obama) is mixed up implementing his slogans and programs," Mottaki said in an exclusive interview with IRNA.
"Since the U.S. president is mixed up with the analysis of the situation, he has re-started speaking nonsense," he said.
"The era of expecting others to listen what you say is already over," Mottaki said, adding that "the Americans are in dire need of learning to listen. They have to seize the time to understand and to analyze correctly the realities of the countries and the developments in different parts (of the world)."
Protests gripped Tehran and other Iranian cities after the June presidential election, amid claims that the vote had been rigged in favor of the incumbent President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
