During the three-day events, city residents will be able to buy Macao-produced wine, coffee and all kinds of souvenirs at lower prices.

Furthermore, to promote the unique culture of Macao, which harmoniously combines both Chinese traditions and Western influences, the fair will also stage several performances, such as Portuguese folk dance.

The organizers of the fair, namely the Macao Special Administrative Region Economic Service and the Macao Government Tourist Office, will give out as many as 400,000 free tickets to the trade fair to Beijing residents, says the report.

At the same time, Macao's enterprises, especially the small- and medium-sized ones, will participate in the fair, looking for potential partners and business opportunities.

The same event was held in Shanghai in May this year. It was the first time Macao held such a big event promoting business and trade in the Chinese mainland since its return to China in 1999. Later, the event was again held in southwestern China's Chongqing municipality.
