KABUL, Dec. 13 (Xinhua) -- National revenue in the post-Taliban Afghanistan is on rise as the country has earned 4.84 billion Afghanis (98 million U.S. dollars) just in one month, Ministry for Finance said in a statement released on Sunday.
"According to information released by the Revenue and Custom Department, domestic revenue in the month of Aqrab (Oct. 23 Nov.21) amounted to 4.84 billion Afghanis (98 million U.S. dollars)," the statement said.
The revenue of the same month last year was registered 3.83 billion Afghanis (some 78 million U.S. dollars).
Afghanistan's national revenue during the outgoing year, according to Finance Ministry's spokesman Aziz Shams, is totaled over 60 billion Afghanis ( 1.2 billion U.S. dollars) against 41.5 billion Afghanis or 900.5 million U.S. dollars last year.
