KABUL, Nov. 18 (Xinhua) -- U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton paid unannounced visit to Afghanistan's capital Kabul on the eve of oath taking ceremony of President Karzai Wednesday, local media reported.
However, officials with Afghan Presidential Palace and Afghan Foreign Ministry are reluctant to make comment possibly due to security concern.
Over 40 foreign dignitaries is expected to attend the oath taking ceremony of President Karzai held amid tight security on Thursday to lead the country for the next five years.
