KABUL, Nov. 17 (Xinhua) -- Ten Afghans were killed and over two dozen others sustained injuries as three rockets fired by the insurgents hit a bazaar in Kapisa province 80 km northeast of capital city Kabul, a press release of Interior Ministry said Tuesday.
"Two of the barbaric rocket attacks, carried out by rebels on Monday hit the main bazaar in Tagab district killing 10 innocent civilians and wounding 29 others," the press release said.
The third rocket hit a cemented wall of the compound of international troops causing no damage. However, it did not give further details.
A contingent of French soldiers have been serving in Kapisa province within the framework of NATO-led peacekeeping force to ensure security there.
