DPRK, Syria sign tourism, health and agriculture agreements

PYONGYANG, Oct. 28 (Xinhua) -- The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and Syria here on Wednesday signed cooperation and exchange agreements on tourism, public health and agriculture, the official KCNA news said.

The agreements were signed during the 6th meeting of the DPRK-Syria Joint Economic Committee, held at the Mansudae Assembly Hall.

DPRK Foreign Minister Ri Ryong Nam and Syrian Economy and Commerce Minister Amer Hossni Lutfi were present at the signing ceremony.

The Syrian delegation led by Lutfi arrived in Pyongyang on Monday.
