QINGDAO, East China, Oct. 18 (Xinhua) -- "Super Dan", as Chinese top shuttler Lin Dan was nicknamed, made history by defending the men's singles badminton title at the 11th Chinese National Games here on Sunday.

The 26-year-old, who represents People's Liberation Army, crushed Bao Chunlai from Hunan 21-11, 21-3 in a 35-minute match.
This was a replay of the final of last National Games four years ago as Lin pipped Bao 15-10, 15-2.
Thus Lin became the first player to defend men's singles badminton title in the National Games history.
